There seems to be a load of sissy ladyboys in here.
What do you do on Saturdays if you don't watch football? :?

Footballers should be required to take 'useful' second jobs during the off season.

Take a dump. Play vidyagames. Go for a walk. Do some shopping. Prepare a nice meal. Have fun.

Travelling, eating out, drinking, gaming, shopping. 8-)

It's pretty pathetic to spend a saturday indoors watching sport and feeling some sense of achievement for someone else's hard work. It's probably the most depressing existence I could think of. I'd rather be one of those rat children who live in rubbish dumps in India.

Get a load of this fair weather pleb.
Going to the actual game. I'd do all of what you said and more. Football is great.

It's a bit rich slagging a group of people off for enjoying a hobby, on a forum built on the precept of having another hobby.

It's weird that reading all this, actually makes me feel embarrassed for not being interested in football, in case people might assume I think like the rest of these idiots.

What do you mean?

Footballers get around 4 weeks holiday per year. Are you saying they should be forced to take on a second job for those 4 weeks because they earn a lot of money? Would everyone earning above the national average be forced to give up a percentage of their holidays in order to help people who need it?

Some bizarre logic in here today. Footballers get paid what the market dictates they are worth. It's the same with almost every other job.

Also, almost every high wage earning footballer is involved in charity work of some sort or in the case of the mega-stars, have a charity of their own.

I always thought the best part of football was when a punch-up between players happened...

Then again, supporting Palace, there wasn't much actual football to speak of happening in the first place, so we had to find entertainment in other ways...

Cutting off the last part of that sentence makes it quite the joke. Good show chap.

People who spend their Saturday's inside playing videogames, then have the audacity to call people who like (or football in general) as 'gooseberry fool'. Take a good long look at yourself!!!!

Going out to actually watch football also turns into a social event. Have a few beers, have a chat, go watch the game, then go for a beer and discuss the game with other people after. Oh unless you call talking to some 'kid' on XBOX LIVE a social event for you???!!! :fp:
