That’s not quite true. I couldn’t give a gooseberry fool about Ant and Dec, but I have sympathy for people who are going through breakdowns. Breakdowns and depression are far more serious than “feeling a bit sad”. A mentally ill person or somebody going through a breakdown isn’t thinking properly, they are not completely in control of their actions. It’s different to somebody who drinks 10 pints at the pub and then drives home because they can’t be arsed with a bus/taxi.

I don’t agree with drink driving. He should be charged with it and subject to the law in the same way as anybody else would be. But I still have sympathy for him and other people who go through breakdowns.

The banana split should be in prison. strawberry float his depression and all that bullshit. He was under the influence and caused and accident and got away with it.

Any sympathy is immediately lost the moment he decided to be a selfish jizzrag.

I know that, my dad was mentally ill and would also drink drive all the time, his best one being when he decided to take his motorbike to the pub, got shitfaced and tried to show off in the middle of the high street by giving some girls a lift. He stacked it immediately and crashed in front of the crowd he'd assembled, ran off leaving his bike there and hid at home. I'm still pissed off he only spent one night in the local police station for it.

He tried to get off by saying he was greaving. I assume the two teenage girls on his bike were part of that greaving process.

Oh and he got banned from driving for a year, turned up late to court so they'd already made the decision without him. He then phoned me at work on the first day of my job, called me all sorts of names for not being able to leave there and then to pick him up, so he went to the pub, got pissed and drove home anyway. banana split.

I am not doubting that he should face legal consequences.

That doesn’t also stop me feeling sympathy.
