He threw his toys out of the pram at rudderless for no apparent reason. As he was being incredibly insulting whilst doing it, he got a ban. This has led on to him having another hissy fit and leaving.

Of course, it's much easier to blame "some members" (fantastic use of weasel words, by the way), rather than taking a long, hard look at yourself.

Hmmm, no it wasn't for 'no apparent reason'. You saw one side of things, it seems, and judged. The MCN way it seems

What was the reason, then?

They were butting heads in a couple of topics result to Brer having enough of Rudd being Rudd

http://www.grcade.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17164&start=220

The one instance where I can find where Rudd didn't take it as a joke and continued to bait over the littlest things. Even the person he was defending thought it was a joke!

All I'm saying is they are as bad as each other and I don't know why one got banned while the other walks scot free

Shame as Brer was a good lad. Especially when playing Bad Company 2. He did have an anger issue though from what I've seen

Oh well.

I can't remember the thread - but this is how it was explained to me when I asked what happened.

While Brer was abit over the top in his language, it was rudderless (HoC) who started it with some snide remark about how intelligence and members who posted gifs are linked. And then Brer just lost it, threw the c-word around too much, then HoC was still goading him and then got his BFF to come ban Brer.

The funny thing is, it wasn't even Eighthours who banned Brer. So not only is that explanation biased in the extreme, it's also factually incorrect.

Are we thinking about the same rudderless?

I like Rudd but c'mon he does have a way of speaking down to people  How have you never seen that?!

You can't blame him though, his critics would never let him live this down :( .....oh wait wrong poster. Brer is a great lad and it's a shame he lost it and as a result got banned. I hope he comes back, although I post on rllmuk with him too :shifty:

As far as I'm concerned, he ruined my 3 year old, plagiarised joke.

Hanging is too good for him.

Oh yeah I remember that. Rudderless likes to throw around the "you're not intelligent" insult around quite a lot. He's said it to me many times for no reason and people have commented on him being a bit of a "goader". I guess writing a shitty little games column means you are on par with the great minds of the world.

I tend to just ignore him now as he really isn't worth it. Shame someone who I've not seen abuse people for no reason (though maybe he has) leave because of a troll.

One less poster in the Babe Thread :(

Hoisted by your own petard then, seeing as you used to rail against Football365 for stealing my photoshops.

Seriously, where's all the Rudderless hate come from? I've always found him to very amicable.

It's alright, but Grcade is like Cheers to me. On Rumlik I'm a bit of a nobody, on GR, everybody knows your name. And (I hope) they're always glad you came.....

To carry on the Cheers analogy, I'd say Rudderless was GR's 'Frasier', and Brer was Woody or Coach.
