What the strawberry float is the strategy here? Presumably it's kowtowing to the ERG lot and going back to the EU to renegotiate this non-negotiable withdrawal agreement.
Not sure there's any point is there? A deal that angries up the blood of the ERG is a different prospect to voting yourself out of power for the Tories.
Yeah surely there has to be an agreement that the vote is called off? Otherwise isn't this just another contempt situation - it was agreed that there was a "meaningful vote" and to do anything else is to be going against that?
