This wouldn’t be the same IMF that predicted a vote to leave would trigger a stock market crash and a UK wide recession in 2017, would it...

A recession is coming. Absolutely inevitable.

Worth it to get away from the tyrannical EUSSR, eh?

I agree it's inevitable. As far as I'm aware, we haven't even cleared the deficit from the last one ten years ago, not to mention debt on top of that.

Why are people so amazingly quick to forget the Bank of England having to take emergency actions immediately after the referendum, like pumping £70 billion into the economy?

Doesn't fit their narrative basically.

I would argue that the last recession brought about a lot of the crap we are seeing now. We go into another one, and things won't improve.

I think that the people of this country have had enough of experts from organisations with acronyms saying that they know what is best and getting it consistently wrong, because these people are the same ones who got consistently wrong

Why is Australia on this list?

I assume you are joking but just in case, it is not Australia, it's Austria. The birth place of Hitler, which is yet more proof of the planned superstate. :x

I did think it was that. I didn't realise how badly Israel are going to be affected by Brexit!

gooseberry fool, Hyperion is right.

I have no idea why Australia are on there. I guess the IMF have looked at every country and they figure that Australia is going to feel the effects of Brexit more than the other non-EU countries out there?

It is weird to include them though when all the other countries are EU nations. Maybe an IMF staffer confused AUS with Austria and is still wondering where the strawberry float AUT is.

Australia is heavily reliant on the UK to facilitate trade with Europe. Brexit actually hurts New Zealand and Australia quite a bit.

So it is true that "they need us more than we need them", but only if we are talking about Australia and Mannyland.

Maybe we should leave the Commonwealth instead of the EU.
