Another Brexit deal name to add to the pile there BTW: Super Canada!

There has been a collective failure of government? And who, until recently, was a senior member of that government? Who campaigned for this mess?

A news show for Irish children does a far better job of explaining things than the entire British media and government.

If it is possible to have frictionless trade with an FTA when why are countries like Norway still submitting to checks despite having a much closer relationship with the EU than the UK claims to be seeking? If it were technically possible it would already be happening there. It isn't.

So I spent 2 hours with Andrea Leadsom MP today through work. She wouldn’t be drawn much on Brexit. I got the feeling that she is strategising and positioning herself. Hmmm. All she would say was it’s in the mutual interest of both parties to do a deal.

After her atrocious positioning in 2016, I'm not sure we have much to worry about from Leadsom.

Just ahead of the Conservative party conference Boris Johnson says May's Chequers plan is deranged and we should ditch the HS2 rail link and instead build a bridge to Ireland:

The last time they looked at building a bridge to Ireland it was estimated that it would cost £20billion.
That was in 1997, so today that would be over £25billion

Plus that was for the Bridge to be in Scotland and connecting to Northern Ireland, as that's the shortest distance between the UK mainland and Ireland.

Honestly, if they even try to celebrate this shite with a festival here, I will boycott the strawberry float out of it. This is nothing to celebrate. I will be the fun police.

Would this bridge be built before or after the bridge to France?
