Maybot, no-one wants Chequers. They've all already made clear why. Come up with something else.

I think she's trying to come off forceful, possibly angry...she just sounds deranged.

So to summarise "It's the EU's fault we're all strawberry floated and can't deliver on our false promises".

Or EU come up with something better.

I found her "they won't even explain what's wrong with our plans" amazingly galling.

She sounds like a stubborn spoilt child.

At least she confirmed rights of EU citizens in the UK

I'm surprised she didn't blame the previous Labour government.

May accused the EU of interfering with the election last year, yeah she's definitely always been respectful of them. :fp:

It makes her look strong (lol)

It's starting the blame game against the EU which appeases to the Brexiteers in her party (and the Right wing price/Gammon will lap that gooseberry fool up)

The entire point of it was to protect her position.

Where are people seeing this? They never seem to have any "Live" stuff on the BBC news site any more.

That said I'm not sure I want to watch it. :dread:

People have been making that point from pretty much the minute the last referendum ended. The trouble is it keeps getting hand-waved away by the brexiteers and idiots who follow them.
