Mrs Thatcher would not have been schemed by the EU to elevate the border question into a way of making sure we stay in the EU."

May can’t do anything. Her government is being propped up by the DUP and they are refusing to budge. She might think she could rely on some Labour MPs but the ERG (Rees-Mogg’s lot) will go against her. And all for a “deal” that the EU will not accept anyway.

All she can do is stall and hope to keep her job for as long as possible. While strawberry floating us all over.
