I don't want a people's vote either. I'd prefer they stop giving important decisions to people that don't understand them.

That would be my preference too, but it seems less likely.

The only way out of Brexit is with another referendum. There are no other options.

Failure to secure any kind of deal + inability to get anything through parlaiment + some common sense = remain?

Can't help but feel you're all somewhat proving the authors point by aggressively dismissing the article.

DUP + ERG / Corbyn x 27 countries needed to ratify x no referendum = no deal

This did make me chuckle.

This weekend thousands of anti-Brexit protesters are expected to take to the streets in the name of the People’s Vote march – the campaign calling for a second referendum. Of all the ‘People’s Vote’ cheerleaders, Alastair Campbell is one of the loudest and he appeared on This Week to plug the event.

Only Andrew Neil had a question to ask which seemed to catch Tony Blair’s former spin doctor by surprise:

‘Over 1m people marched, urging the government – of which you were a central figure – not to invade Iraq. You ignored them. Why should this government take any notice of 100k Remainers calling for a second referendum?’

Yeah well, I looked it up and I thought he responded well. Whataboutery isn’t helpful here. We all know he is speaking the truth regards brexit. Bringing up his past to try to discredit facts is pathetic.

I was joking.

I think it’s a fair enough question to ask Campbell, but that it’s not fair to use it against the people’s vote campaign. The campaign for another vote is far greater than the likes of Blair and Campbell.

Oh I knew you were joking Moggy. It was more aimed at Gemini.

As a leave voter myself I don't think any answer I give you, Blue Eyes, in any scenario regarding Brexit will be satisfactory. :)

Typical response. Come on. Why did you vote to leave and why do you seemingly still think it’s a good idea now?

With respect, I'm not going to play ball. If anything here is typical it's your simmering aggressiveness in coming face to face with a "Brexiteer".

Been there, done that in my own social circles. With that in mind I've no desire to bang skulls with a stranger on the interwebs about it. If that makes you feel empowered, then knock yourself out.

So the usual no answer from the leave side then.

If Brexit was such a good idea then it’d be an easy question to answer.

Having said that, I do agree that Blue Eyes is far far too aggressive. Chill out BE, screaming and shouting at people doesn’t work.

Thing is Moggy, I see the poll result and I knew I'd have to face a barrage of "explain yourself" scenarios which is why I never, until now, made it known which way I voted because, as the poll shows, GRcade is predominantly a pro-remain camp. This is fine of course. If we were have a second referendum I would vote the other way and not because "It's the right thing to do" as many of you feel, but because I'm now a pariah in my own social group and, possibly, now here.

Great. Really strawberry floating great.

This seems like a weird reason to vote for anything. :?

You’re not a pariah here. The only people that end up pariahs are those dicks that say meaningless bollocks like “we won get over it!” or “remoaners gottta remoan!”.

Everyone is entitled to their views.

It’d be interesting to know why though as I genuinely have never heard a decent reason for voting leave and have never heard a rational or truthful explanation of how Leave will ever manage to benefit us.

Okay, but not tonight Moggy. Too many beers. :)

Lost to many so called "friends" through this gooseberry fool. That said I'm not entirely sad about that, more disappointed that said "friends" turned out to be quite awful people.
