His speech at the Conservative party conference is today.

But now we will be FREE to not move around as we please. And that's the price of freedom.

Freedom from the unelected EUSSR, because they were giving us too much freedom to travel around their countries :datass:

I've seen other videos with that lad Mike in them. I find his inflection hilarious for some reason. Knows his gooseberry fool though, and he seems genuinely enthusiastic. His videos are a hotbed for Brexit trolls. There's a commentator who frequents his posts who is a complete bellend. Keeps changing his name.

Anyway, thread on the GFA. Might be worth reading.

Telling yourself anyone below your high wage bracket is low skilled is some deeply insecure bollocks, and seems fundamental to how people treat their careers.

For bonus horror, have a read up on the Civil Contingencies Act. It basically allows the government to do anything and everything they want and to amend/repeal almost anything except the Human Rights Act and the Civil Contingencies Act.

I think Monbiot asked him for any sources for that story and he couldn’t provide a single one.

I’m surprised at how low that salary is.

Always amazes me how people are inclined to believe those in government (a government and civil service that in reality can’t agree on anything at all) are utterly incompetent one minute but are equally capable of a grand secretive plot the next, seemingly dependent on what side of the argument you happen to be on that day. A plot so grand and secrective it can only be uncovered by Barry at number 9, but thankfully Barry’s on social media and he’s told the world about it, also alerting the soon to be betrayed of this impending conspiracy.

So you are saying that 9/11 was carried out by George Bush.

That twitter thread gives the current administration way, way, way too much credit.

Using something this to a massive power grab doesn't sound like the tories at all.

That's just what they want you to think.....

I think it is completely feasible that a government would engineer a no deal scenario to grab more power for themselves.

I just don’t believe the current Tory party is capable of that. They are evil enough, but they are nowhere near competent enough. May can’t even bring herself to slap Boris Johnson down, I can’t believe she has the ability to seize power like that. And Johnson can’t even cover up his misdeeds with his little johnson, he is not the Bond villain level genius that people think he is.
