No need to apologise, mate. That said I guess I came across a little condescending and counter aggressive myself, so please accept my apologies.
Brexit has everyone's tensions running high. If it's any consolation I have, certainly in light of the colossal strawberry float up our elected government have made of the whole situation, begun to question a great many things regarding this whole sorry scenario.
Other things closer to home to contend with right now, though, so in the bigger picture of things I am gonna have to be selfish in that regard.

It's hard to see the context of this comment as some other posts appeared to be questionable and have been deleted but I can't imagine a situation in which this would stand as acceptable.
