Majority of the UK accepts we are leaving the EU

According to a new YouGov poll, 70% of the UK population, irrespective of whether they support it or not, accepts Britain will leave the European Union.

15% believe Britain will not leave the EU, with a further 15% not sure.

Of those questioned, Conservative voters were most likely to believe the UK is leaving on 83%, followed by SNP at 71%, and Labour on 65%.

Labour voters however are the most likely to believe the UK will stay in the EU, on 19%.

When it comes down to age demographics, those over the age of 65 are more likely to believe we are leaving (78%) compared to those who are 18-24 (68%).

Accepts is probably the wrong word. We “accept” that at the moment we are leaving, there doesn’t seem to be any way of stopping it at the moment with the Tories and Labour supporting it.

I think we will end up leaving, that doesn’t mean I think we should.

Acknowledging we are going to leave and accepting that we are leaving are two different things, accepting suggests a peace with it, acknowledging it does not

Is that some kind of threat? What's going to happen, a horde of gammony men and women rushing into battle?

It's not like headlines like that have led to the assassination of MPs or anything.

Former managing editor of The Sun Stig Abell on Sky News at the moment quite damning of those 2 front pages. ‘Overly simplistic jibber-jabber’.

A good point, and I seriously hope nothing happens like that again.

The roller coaster and power stations are a particular highlight.

“We’ve got the power station on the montage, anything else?”

“Put a seagull on it. But make sure it’s a very English looking seagull”

All this talk about undermining our negotiations stance. This government has managed to do that at every turn with their infighting. It achieved this on its own.

But they bare only fighting because the REMOANERS don't just accept that democracy has spoken! If they just accepted that the majority want rid of the EU they would just get on with leaving and it would take a day!
