Second caller in and has a guy who is stating falsehood after falsehood while James deconstructs his points methodically.

I feel sorry for some brexiteers who were lied to.

I loved at the end where he tried to switch it to the USA and said about “look at America with their 52 states” :slol:

I don’t feel sorry for them anymore, they are now wilfully believing the bullshit and ignoring any contrary evidence. It’s like somebody who falls for a Nigerian Prince scam, I feel sorry for them the first time, but I lose sympathy when they continue sending £100 a week to the scammers.

I wouldn't bother.

They were explained to relentlessly the pile of manure they were swallowing. We're now 2+ years later and it's still be explained to them, and reality is exposing the falsehoods they listened to daily.

At this point they can only have chose to be as stupid as they are.

I also don't blame people for voting that way, but anyone still 100% behind brexit at this point is a strawberry floating numpty.

I hope they don't get this through with no amendments made. But I'm expecting it, I've been burned too many times.

Really, you're expecting the Labour party to step up to the plate and oppose something?

That's the source of my pessimism. They truly are rubbish.

They'll get loads of amendments - but the big two won't succeed.

Labs gone with the "Don't go with the cross party one, go with the Labour one to get a magic unicorn"

It utterly baffles me Corbynistas don't see how Pro-Brexit he is (who was the only leader on TV the next morning saying LEAVE NOW).

Lab will frustrate anything that might open up the possibility of Brexit being reverse cancelled (e.g. second vote on final deal)

Rebecca Long-Bailey parroting the deluded magical unicorns dream was just another nail in the coffin for me. Labour are not offering anything beyond what has been tried and failed. It's maddening as strawberry float.

At least it's nice to know that another Tory at least some level of integrity and a good enough moral compass.

Yeah Lab's plan seems to be ensure Brexit happens and then when it's a clusterfudge go "Well WILL OF THE PEOPLE and our version would have been much better"

Which is basically word for word what Brexiteers will say. The rancor with which Corbynites will go after anyone criticising this though...eesh.

Arron Banks walked of the MP committee, wouldn't answer any more questions because he has to go to lunch.

Sounds like Rebels have been bought off by some vague promises of the Government while it hunts for unicorns.
