How about we don’t put hugely important issues to public votes when that public’s been poisoned by a four decade long campaign of disinformation and dishonest representation.
How about we find people who know what the strawberry float they’re talking about and do what they suggest.

Morgan is really a centre left Blairite type, but he's happy to suck up to people with different views if it gets him exposure and money. Look at when he went to the States he started off really pro gun control and got the attacked by republicans but then decided to get right behind Trump because he saw the opportunity to make a bunch of money and get on TV more.
If you’re willing to prop up right wing nonsense or take part in getting right wingers frothing at the mouth for a payday it doesn’t really matter what your ‘real’ ideology is. If you’re contributing to their lunacy, you’re one of them and part of the problem.

He isn't centre left. But he is addicted to money and exposure.
It also doesn't help that Dover port is already a complete shitshow even before these new regulations are introduced.
In comparison, the port of Calais is modern, spacious, and well organised. But as is always the case with the UK, our govts have left the infrastructure to rot for decades without any meaningful investment then expects it to cope when things get busy.
Interested to know if they are doing that to EU passport holders. It would be funny if they aren't. The word Britons might be deliberate here, it doesn't include Northern Ireland.
Also that front page is pretty much mail reader bingo. They just missed Diana.
I've had to deal with this crap in my previous job. About 5 years ago it was a case of UKCA being brought in for UK certification, in addition to a CE mark. CE if it has a number under it (which is the certification house ID number) means it has to go through a paid certification process, and those houses have to be approved by the EU. One we were dealing with had to move out of the UK, and we had to resubmit the last 10 years of products as the number under it then changed, and the customs cert would be invalid. This is in addition to having to pay for UKCA certification.
