I hope it's Hardy more than Joe. Having Joe killed before he can explain WTF he was doing this series would probably lead to his killer being the "real" killer of Danny. Plus if Hardy was killed you could bring in those involved with Sandbrook instead of having it just be a poorly developed timewaster during the trial.

I'd like to hear more about the lesbian lawyer and that postman that pushed Danny.

Don't forget tonight....

The show that no one can predict suddenly turns into the x-files.

I missed the beginning but I assume he was found not guilty then.

It wouldn't surpirise me if Joe was found not guilty and then murdered shortly after. It would then set up another whodunnit for a third series.

This is what I thought was going to happen when I realised this series was going to cover the trial. What a waste of a season.

Joe Miller is too stupid to live.

I liked that ending, some of the best acting of the series and a good way of tying this up. That said, there's going to be a third series so that's that ruined already.

Won't be watching it when it returns

So no one died. That was a surprise at least.

Still struggling to see the point of this series. If it was meant to be Hardy's redemption then it did a pretty gooseberry fool job. The whole thing felt empty. Having that send off for Joe was nowhere near as good as the original one in the cell for series one.

I gave up after the first few episodes. So was Joe guilty or not?

Yes but he was found not guilty due to lots of unbelievable nonsense.

The jury found him not guilty. The audience wasn't presented with any evidence which contradicted his confession in season 1.

Finale was fine until the mention of a third series at the end. ITV need to learn when to let something go.

It's their first half decent drama in ages, they just want to milk it for all it is worth.

We weren't ever supposed to think he didn't do it

Sort of related, anyone seen Gracepoint the US version ? It has Tennant as Alec but with an American Accent. Just downloading it now to watch.

It is the UK one done again but with less tension and emotion. Also the twist is just wrong. If you've seen Broadchurch and have to watch Gracepoint then just watch the final episode. You already know the build up.

The ending doesn't even make sense considering events of previous episodes.
