Probably because sky make it strawberry floating impossible to actually make a complaint. I tried to some time last year due to being mis-sold a TV deal and the first advisor wouldn't take it and told me I'd have to speak to a manager and I'd get a call back within 24hrs this happened at least four more times with the call back times varying from 24-48hrs but never happend and a manager would never come on the phone to speak to me, eventual just phoned up within the cooling of period and cancelled the contract within 24hrs I got a call from their retentions team with a new deal but no complaint was ever registered which was BS

Had issues with their overseas call centres. Complained i couldnt understand them. Was speaking to someone in glasgow the next day.

Never had any massive issues with them tbf

Refuse to use BT, they seem expensive compared to everyone else and I've heard too many bad experiences.

I recall there was research a few years ago that found the Scottish accent was the most soothing and conciliatory. I think that's why BT and Sky have call centres there (everyone I spoke to when I was with Sky was Scottish).

I was dead against BT for a long time as they gave me a refund for a product I bought from their online shop and I had to threaten them with a solicitor for them to actually give me the money back :lol:

Virgin Trains are weird, East Coast is in India, West Coast is in the UK...

No, they really don't, I can easily understand people from Edinburgh but it takes considerable effort to understand Glaswegians.

Although I'm sure they'd have similar trouble if I started speaking in a strong Yorkshire accent.
