He may well have been all of those..

Seriously, what was his name. Fancied himself as a bit of a gangster.

I was veggie when I was a teenager. Christmas was fine. Just had turkey flavoured meat substitute.

Yum yum.

It's a sad story, but I don't think it's going to put me off eating there.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

I haven't clicked on the link. However simply from your description of the article - a company can't be held accountable for the allergies of its customers, can it?

The headline is "Shahida Shahid death: Teenager 'told Almost Famous about her food allergies before eating', inquest hears" , so I take that to mean the restaurant is completely responsible.

Terrifying anyway.

However, this has reminded me that I really want to go for a burger. I have to choose really obscure times to go though as London burger places are usually rammed. Luckily everyone goes to Shake Shack still in Cov G and Meat Market is usually nice and quiet. Still want to try Patty n Bun.

The story seems to imply she made some sort of allergy known but was advised it would be ok. For whatever reason this doesnt seem to have been the case.

I dont suffer any food alergies so cant say it'll bother me any, but still, Id like to know that my potentially fatal allergies were taken seriously if I had one.
