Sleazys is amazing. All they burgers are really tall so they're a challenge to eat in any sensible manner, but they taste amazing. BMB is amazing too. Their burgers come with a full roll of kitchen roll. You need it as they're so juicy.

This one is a "Behemoth" from Nice N Sleazy in glasgow. The burger comes with Stilton, brisket and pickles as well as horseradish mayo and a side of bone marrow gravy to pour over the top.

Apparently influenced by some Metal group behemoth where the lead singer had leukaemia, hence the bone marrow gravy.

It is amazing!

looks like something out of Call of Cthulhu

This is a smokin bacon burger from Burger Meats Bun in Glasgow. My favourite burger ever. Ordered it with some amazing chili cheese fries and "macnuggets", breaded deep fried macaroni nuggets. So good.

Burger was voted glasgows best burger last year.

Looks a bit underdone, I know steak should be at least a bit pink in the middle but I like burgers evenly cooked.

I think its done to the right level, but hasnt been left to rest and hence the juices have all run out (oooh errr). Result is a VERY soggy bottom (OOOHHH ERRRR!)

I like my burgers medium rare. If it's using mincemeat like from a supermarket I would want it cooked through, but using nice lumps of chuck steak then it's "real" meat. Not just bits and bobs.

That burger looks fine as strawberry float. I'm sure the cow would be proud to see what he has become.

I'm going to destroy a burger such as that from Burger Meats Bun on my triumphant return to Glasgow.

Cooking your own burgers medium rare, or anything below pretty well done, is a bad idea. Unless the meat is properly treated beforehand, you always run risks if you've minced it. With steaks, the bacteria doesn't penetrate the bulk of the meat so just cooking the outside is enough to kill it, but if you mince the meat while it's raw, the bacteria is spread throughout and therefore could be harmful if you don't cook it properly all the way through.

In restaurants, if they offer you a cooking method, I guess you just have to hope they're one of the ones that properly treat the meat before cooking it.

They look good. Just checked the site and prices seem reasonable. Can't say I'm ever in Battersea though.

Dip & Flip is incredibly easy to get to and nearby, I'll have to check it out. I didn't realise it was right around the corner from Clapham Junction.

Gave 5 Guys another chance when I was in Birmingham. My verdict? Not bad. Expensive, but not bad.

I went for the Bacon Cheeseburger with a crap load of the toppings. The bacon is the best bacon I've ever had on a burger. Crispy, real bacon. I believe they deep fry it. The patty itself was OK, but I don't like their practice of using two. I'd prefer one larger one cooked medium rare as beef loses something when you cook it until there's no pink. The bun is good but nothing special, like the fries. Their drink options are a bit lacking. 7/10.
