Nah. Five Guys are good, but not £8 for a cheeseburger (just a burger, no chips or drink) good.

Quality wise they're way above the likes of McDonalds.
Value for money wise they're way below the likes of McDonalds.

I had an In n Out burger in LA. It was nice but nothing special.
I liked their fries though! People don't seem to. But they were like chippy chips but in the form of fries. I had animal style too which is not on their menu (secret)...for this they add melted cheese, bread sauce and grilled onions on top.

Huh? Its thousand Island, not bread sauce.

Also, In N Out is outstanding, the shakes are a very underrated aspect of the experience.

I always try and get a souvenir whenever I visit a new burger restaurant. You should see my collection of McDonald's straws - all still in their original paper wrappings.

Anyone ever eaten burgers from 7Bone?

They've just opened a place in reading and the pictures of the burgers look well nice.

Whataburger did very nice burgers, but they only operate in the south - Texas down to Florida way. In n Out is also very good, we had one near San Francisco a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
