I've never been impressed with their burgers, but I'm tempted by this one:

PEANUT BUTTER AND BACON
Peanut butter, smoked bacon, chilli jam, lettuce, tomato & red onion.

Sounds amazing and gooseberry fool at the same time.

Did you try this Lewis?

I've tried this, Banjo got it when we went to the one in Glasgow a few months back. I don't like peanut butter but it's actually really good.

Nah I chickened out .

Had the specialty cheeseburger, with a slab of goats cheese in it.

Cheese was lovely. Meat was overcooked.
Bun was soggy as a teenage girls gusset on the bottom and dry as Gandhi's foot top, from being sat under the heat lamps for 5 minutes.

Took one bite and all the filling strawberry floated off out the back.
Never again.

Also, the rosemary chips were CAKED in unground sea salt. Couldve taken it home and refilled my grinder!

Apologies for advertising! Just take this post down if it's not allowed!

My Brother, Joe, is opening a Burger (and Hotdog & Ribs/Brisket/Pork) Joint in Guildford today.
He's spent years planning for this, so it's a big day for him.

If anyone is in Guildford, or is passing through soon, or having a Meet & Meat, I'd recommend popping in.
He's always been a magnificent chef, far better than I'd ever be and his burgers are strawberry floating spot on.

£15 for chilli and rice? Seems a bit steep.

Yeah, it's supposed to be a whacking great lump of slow cooked beef brisket though, along with the corn muffins.
I dunno though, I've not seen it yet, so I'll let you know.

Guildford prices though - par for the course really. :(

Tell him to stick Philly Cheese Steak on that menu and he's pretty much opened my perfect food joint! I'm in the UK at the moment and pretty tempted to head to Guildford! Good luck to him!

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

I went to five guys for the first time last week. Went for the bacon cheeseburger with mayo and some Cajun fries. I was a bit put aback by the price but omg that burger was gorgeous, the fries were delicious too. 9/10. It's obviously the peanut oil.

I've said it before, but Five Guys is good food, but it's not quite worth the price they ask.

See that depends on how many peanuts you can fit in your pockets & how many times you refill your drink

Oh I assumed I was allowed to just take one of those big boxes of peanuts that they just leave lying around.

Reds is epic tier, love going in Leeds sometimes on my lunch break. Asda sell bottles of their sauce too.

Burgers & Beers in Edinburgh has gone really downhill since I was last here a few months ago. Terrible service, ages to wait before order taken and the food was overcooked. My ribs were practically charcoal whereas last time they were practically falling off the bone. Even the chips were a bit overcooked.
