There doesn't seem to be much 'vibe' for this game. I'm pretty buzzed about seeing it as I've barely played COD before. I'm keen to get stuck in but also wary that, as a noob, the online fighting may prove a bit frustrating?

I'd guess that most GRcadians are a bit dulled by the franchise? For me, the preview vids have done a great job of building up an appetite to see more of the game.

Looks like it could have the best campaign since Black Ops and best multiplayer since Black Ops 2.

As a first entry I think you're in for a good ride. You're in for a bit of a shock when you take it online though, even the pros are saying it's fast and it wasn't exactly slow before

Thinking of getting back into CoD. It'll be my first since Modern Warfare 2. This all depends on reviews though, looking for 8 and above.

Those two were my favourites so it is for me.

Yeah, Floex, the campaign does appear to be pretty impressive. That trailer was neat and the graphics looked ace... I'm not too sure about the quips, though. As for the online multiplayer game, I wonder if the speed and demands could be a bit too much for people new to the series.

This sounds positive, Maf. Maybe the game will be the step up for the series that folk seem to be looking for.

I don't get the need to put a random scantily clad babe in halfway through that trailer. It's embarrassing.

Got email from Amazon just before 10pm last night confirming it has been despatched. Royal Mail tracking this morning says they have it and are processing it. Wonder if I might get this today?

Got it today from SimplyGames. Can't play it till this evening cos I'm looking after my little boy, but I'm looking forward to it.

Think I'll be preordering Halo from them if I'll get it next Saturday. ShopTo just dispatched COD this morning which is cutting it a bit close for Monday delivery.

I was going to get this but decided against it as I'm going to get back into Diablo 3 instead.

I've just done this. Cancelled my preorder with shopto. Never used simply games before.

My copy arrived today from SimplyGames too.

Haven't got round to starting it yet, but it's installed and the patch is downloaded. It didn't help that my internet went down for about 2 hours while it was installing and got stuck at 18%. :fp:
