Don't get all of the COD bashing that went on when this was announced. The trailers were fine, single player turned out to be solid with plenty of enjoyable moments, multiplayer, too, has been good so far. Perhaps the weakest of the three major shooter releases of the Autumn, but a good game nevertheless. It's keeping other - more 'highly rated' - games out of my disc drive at the moment.

Yeah it does seem to be getting a hard time because of other games released this year. The multiplayer has really won me over to the point I was playing until 1am on Sunday. There isn't a bad map in the game IMO.

Enjoying the campaign even if it is your usual CoD nonsense. Multi-player feels incredibly unbalanced, but is okay for a quick blast. (Have both BF1 and Titanfall 2 on the way so I doubt Infinite's MP will get much of a look in)

Remaster is superb. Will definitely keep Infinite Warfare as a result.

It's no more unbalanced than any other modern shooter and like all the CoD's I've played, you start with one of the best weapons in the game.

The SP seems pretty decent. Much better than any of the last few Ive played. Playing the MW MP I'm strawberry floating awful at it :fp:

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

I fair a lot better at the MW multi-player than I do Infinite which just seems all over the place. It's like it wants to be Unreal Tournament, but fails miserably at it.

It's pretty difficult. The Nova 4 is one of the best weapons in the game so try to level it up, this CoD is more about the guns than perks so just stick with 1 or 2 guns while you're learning how to play so that you can unlock some good attachments.

A good tip I got was to go into a private match with bots and turn aim assist off to get better at learning the recoil pattern.

Yes I'm watching youtube videos now :fp:

The MW multiplayer just feels so slow and clunky after playing IW and Titanfall 2 MP.

Well you cant wall run or slide so it's bound to. It's still great though and rock hard.

Loving the contrast of the two as well. It's great.

It's a great package all round. It's a shame it didn't light up the reviews as I'd imagine a few may not have given it a go, but I love it.

There's no doubt that if this wasn't Call of Duty it would have scored better.

Is it acknowledged that playing in the UK puts players at a disadvantage at certain times of day? There are definitely times when shots don't seem to register and I can only assume it's a connection thing.

I just can't summon the will to go beyond half way through the Campaign. It's just so boring. I dunno; yeah, it looks great and all that, but it's so heavily scripted it's ultimately just a dull trudge through brightly coloured backgrounds and loud noises.

The MP maps are fun to play, but there's not much difference here between Black Ops III and this. We'll have to see what happens with Zombies, I guess. Not a huge fan of the whole 80s things, tbh. I rashly signed-on for the Season Pass, so either way I'm locked-in for the duration. Let's see what comes down the pipes in the months ahead.

Ive really enjoyed the campaign so far, the ship stuff is really well done, and I've enjoyed it, so much better than all the other COD SP I've played, well since black ops 1 anyway.

Havent touched the MP and none of my friends have it to play zombies. Pleasantly surprised tbh.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Does anyone actually understand zombies? It's fun shooting stuff but I haven't got a clue what's going on in the level. Frankie Goes to Hollywood was a nice surprise.

I followed the original story as far as black ops, loved it, even tried to complete all the easter eggs, it was just the challenge of all the waves, since the BO2 with it gooseberry fool bus mechanics they've tried to complicate it and it doesn't work, old fashioned waves of zombies, somewhere to barricade yourself in was where it was brilliant, its lost its way now imo
