It's the multiplayer that seems to be getting the hate. I'm sure the campaign is fine but they're always pretty short.

Battlefield is just as frustrating with people camping or getting sniped from the other side of the map.

I've proven to be gooseberry fool at both this and Battlefield now.

Snipe back or if you can spawn behind them then stab them in the back, no better feeling.

:o .

I wonder how CDkeys has got some seperate codes for it? £45 seems steep, though. I guess it'll appeal to some players who really don't want to play Infinite Warfare.

Don't you need to own Infinite Warfare to play the MW remaster?

Activision kinda made it sound like you did... but you don't. The download version has two seperate game icons for IW and MWR. Within the two games there is a menu option to run the other game, but it is simply a way of closing down the current game and starting the other one.

The disc version of IW needs to be in the drive to play MWR... but I believe that this CDkeys download code would simply be the stand-alone download version.

I can understand why, it feels like the generic CoD like multiplayer that was in every FPS a few years ago that lacked the snappy, responsive feel of MW and BO.

Wow, MW multiplayer is light-years ahead of IW. I knew I wasn't that bad at CoD.

Just done the shock and awe missions and aftermath. Still as amazing as I remember it.

You are in COD as well.

Not to same degree, you can have the least kills in Battlefield 1 and still be top of the leaderboard, impossible in CoD, Hime is right, MW is brilliant, the difference in MP quality is stark.

Clicked on the wrong game this morning, ended up giving IW another chance and it's sort of clicked now that I've unlocked the third assault rifle. Some of the levels are very smartly designed for wall running. My biggest complaint at this point is that I can't see the need the need to have more than one load out.

Going back to MW and as much as I would like the new games to have a bit more variety to allow for more weapons than assault rifles and smg''s, playing bog is a stark reminder of how bad sniping can be in this. I'd forgotten how much better MW2 was, can't wait for the remaster of that.

I seem to have hit a game breaking bug on PC that's completely stopping me progressing with the campaign,

Nora just stands there endlessly rather than coming into the elevator as I presume she needs to for the game to progress.

If you play domination - you can finish near the top with far fewer kills.
You also don't die as arbitrarily in this as you do in Battlefield but again - it's because they're different games.

I just don't like the allusion that you need more skill or tactical nous for battlefield because that's nonsense.

And yes MW MP is better because it's a remaster of the best one. I wonder how many games of IW MP you've played before deciding it's not very good?
Although the fact that you're not very good at it is a factor in your opinion.

I've only had an hour or two on the latter and about 5 on MW.

I like it. It's a very pared down version. Great guns, maps and it's also hard. You miss a shot or make a mistake - you're toast.
The new games allow you to slide or jump or wall run away from trouble - this one kills you if you lapse.

Love it.
Bit I know I'm going to love the other one, too and the fact that they are such different experiences - extends the playability and shelf life of both.

I'm in Cod heaven right now.

Is kill confirmed on MW?

I really do rate the IW campaign as my favourite since Modern Warfare. I love the freedom it gives you. Did they get the Ace Combat guys in for the ship parts? It sure feels like it.
