Can't understand why the control options in this don't allow you to set them globally. After configuring things in the Campaign and correcting the obvious bug where Right Mouse is a toggle for aiming rather than holding it down, I tried my hand at the Zombies mode and found that everything had reset back to default there and I had to set it all again since it has its own control options for some stupid reason :fp:

Finished the campaign on hardcore first. I forgot all about that ending   Cant believe how one company can derail what was such a great franchise.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

UK Sales -

However, it’s not enough to outperform last year’s ‘Black Ops III’ launch week with sales down 48.4%. There is no Xbox 360 or PS3 version this time round, although even comparing just PS4 and Xbox One; sales are still down by 43.6%

That is a big drop from Black Ops III but, just to add some context to the headline, the game still achieved the second-biggest launch sales of the year after FIFA 17.

Lots of the CoD campaigns are pretty good, I certainly enjoyed MW2 and BO more than MW. Unfortunately IW's campaign is gooseberry fool. Got to a section with a boss fight that can't have gone through any kind of play testing.

I'd forgotten how unplayable CoD multiplayer is during the day here as presumably you're playing against Americans. Glad I bought a physical copy as I'm close to trading this in.

My Missus is related to a a playtester for Activision Minnesota who playtested IW! :slol:

Well I won't be asking you for his address just yet, after getting past that bit I've really enjoyed the single player.

Keep flitting between IW and MW multiplayer and I think I'm having more fun playing the former. MW is a classic but some of the maps (Bog, Ambush and Crossfire) are made for sniper camping, the range in weapons is all over the place, the perk system is limited and the hit boxes are still broken. Downpour, Crash, Overgrown and Vacant are still amazing though.

The hit boxes aren't great. Hoping they patch that soon as.

I went back to it tonight and it's no better, got a good video to show how broken it is. It's unplayable for me in its current state, just incredibly frustrating. IW is a much better game.

Finished the IW campaign today and it was great, I think a folks on here would enjoy it.

The campaign in this has so far been my favourite CoD campaign ever.

That's my excuse sorted.. ;)

Seriously though I've been sure I've sniped a player and got nothing.

You get to be a badass space captain.

Think something along the lines of the first Mass Effect as an FPS but without the RPG elements.

Similar to Mass Effect the side missions are the most interesting part. It's a shame they went for a save the world story as there isn't much room for a sequel.

After all my moaning about MW I decided to have a quick match before going to bed and just had the game of my life

Campaign done. Pretty good. Certainly the quickest I've bothered to finish a COD single player campaign in years. Looks lush on the Pro, too, which kept me wanting to get through it.

Don't get all of the COD bashing that went on when this was announced. The trailers were fine, single player turned out to be solid with plenty of enjoyable moments, multiplayer, too, has been good so far. Perhaps the weakest of the three major shooter releases of the Autumn, but a good game nevertheless. It's keeping other - more 'highly rated' - games out of my disc drive at the moment.
