This guy clearly doesn't do a minute's silence to commemorate the Battle of Endor

I might make an exception for cute woodland animals against trained soldiers that couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo... so many Stormtroopers lost :(

Count me in for World War 2, I've heard rumours of it being an 'alternative' world war 2, that would be horrific if it happens. No matter what happens, the MP will be the same, CoD can't accuratley do mp war games like Battlefield, B1 is simply astonishing in its scope.

Quick example of the difference between Battlefield and CoD:

Not sure what difference you're alluding to there.

Really? All that double jump, power slide bullshit put me right off.

Battlefield have and always will over shadow CoD for me.

Totally different games as far as i'm concerned. I've barely touched the MP on Infinite Warfare. Ive been consumed with the MP on MW remastered. Having never played the original - it's like a new game for me. A strawberry floating glorious one.

They're both good and both completely different.

Didn't realise Infinite was by IW. I may give it a bash when I have nothing else to play.

He's also most likely never heard of the War of the Lance as that was a war against bloody dragon armies lead by actual evil overlords.

Terrible times  .

You've made the right choice, I've deleted Infinite off my Hard Drive, MW remaster is quality.

Not expecting much from this though, do we know which developer is going to be working on it?

Sledgehammer are working on this year's one I think since Infinity Ward did last year's and Treyarch the year before.

Ah ok, not played either of the COD games they made although I do have MW3 in my Steam Library. I lost interest in COD for the most part after MW2, I was never a great fan of the Treyarch developed games and IW aren't the same studio they were after they got rid of so many people. I have picked up a few of the more recent games but the single player campaigns have been getting worse and worse and the MP focus doesn't do anything for me. Hopefully this will have more in common with the earlier COD games than the more recent ones but I'm expecting to be disappointed.

The official launch trailer will be shown at 1800 (UK) today... anyone gonna be watching? I'm glad that the game is returning to it's roots although I hope that Activision handles it in a respectful way. I'll be tuning in to check it out.

Opening storming of the beach is going to feel like a remake of Frontline.

Should look incredible on Pro/Scorpio.

Graphics look decent, nowhere near as good as Battlefront 1 though.
