The problem with futuristic COD is that Titanfall 2 does it way better

The problem with futuristic COD is that it's wank.

The only way I could imagine myself playing a non rooted, non traditional CoD, is if the futuristic stuff (jetpacks, etc) was steampunk inspired. I would play the gooseberry fool out of that purely because I am imagining the aesthetics to be massively more interesting than the uninspired gooseberry fool of IW.

Are you guys strictly talking about the multiplayer because the IW campaign was brilliant. Never even touched the multiplayer in that. I remember playing the BO3 beta and it just felt like a poor imitation of Titanfall.

I've only played the opening, but I'm pretty sure Titanfall 2's campaign is still better ;)

It definitely was gameplay wise.

Titanfall 2 is better but there definitely isn't the gulf in quality that the internet would have you believe.

I understand why people want a more grounded CoD but everything about this latest game feels like it's been made by committee with absolutely no imagination. Is there a more uninspired title than WW2? I'm sure it's great but there is a lot of really, really good stuff around at the moment.

What happens if they want to revisit WW2? Will it be WW2 2?

The only winners are the lawyers.

Activision should have got permission to use their vehicles, but the reasons being given are just beyond ludicrous.

AM General said Call of Duty's use of the Humvee "is a key selling feature of the games"

Why is it suddenly bothering them now?

Maybe they've not sold enough cars this year.

So there aren't any Humvees in the latest CoD?

Won't be buying that then!

I DIDN'T CRY, and like everything in this game it's been done before, but a moving and poignant final 10 minutes nevertheless.

A frustration-free conclusion to the Campaign as well. I think sometimes you're so strawberry floated off with the difficulty of some last missions any emotional impact of the final cut scene is lost, but not here.

Highlight was definitely the stealth level in France that also required a bit of memorisation of some travel papers. I bet some people will be caught out by that had they not paid attention, probably expecting the game to automatically do it for them.

Blops 3 multiplayer was by far the best of the futuristic multiplayers.

The wall running and jumping were fun additions rather than integral. Advance wars was much poorer.

Holy gooseberry fool at the quality of the CGI in Turner's death scene :o The models are pretty good before the start of a mission, ditto during a mission, but that scene was on a whole other level.

I'm mostly enjoying this but I can't wait for it to be over  Can't handle more than a few missions a day, though.

Currently on Ambush. How many more missions do I have left?

The Rhine, and then the Epilogue (which is more of an interactive cut scene). About 30-40 minutes.
