360 Overheating

In the last week or so my 360 keeps overheating loads. I've got a fan right next to it but it turned itself off after about 5 minutes numerous times today. What else can I do or is it on it's last legs ?

The fans are colored black. You should be able to see and feel a jet of hot air coming out if they're spinning from the back of your console, without having to open it. Not to mention your 360 will sound like a jet engine :lol:

Think I've sorted it now, they were really dusty and I cleaned them. It's been fine for the last few hours cheers
