Those 'mad dashes to the rocket launcher' you get in a lot of FPS multiplayer drive me up the wall.
Resistance, I'm looking at you :x

People who hog vehicles and they keep driving you over and over. :fp: Thankfully I kill these kind of players easily now (apart from that huge ass tank)

Still have yet to fight back snipers. :(

A recent one I discovered (on friday no less).

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe

S'not a bad fighting game, pretty good in fact, some of the characters are nicely balanced. Annoyingly, Green Lantern is a bitch due to his awesome ring powers but that's easily avoided with a simple sidestep. But then there comes the real bitch slap moves.

Darkseid, Jax and Superman. Three of the most powerful characters as you'd expect with some annoying long range attacks. But what really pisses me off about them is their ground pound move. It's unblockable apart from if you jump quick enough. And the move itself is quite quick so you have to anticipate it beforehand which is bloody difficult. Whenever I started to beat someone playing as one of them I knew that at some point the spamming of that move would initiate. strawberry floating irritating as hell.

What is the tale here? I would read the thread, but no doubt it's all been paved over with chit chat and chaos theories!

It's lies of the highest order, is what it is. I'd have the c-unit banned if his Friday Feeling thread wasn't so useful.

This X 100,000,000

I've lost count of the amount of times two geeks lay claim to the Warthogs. One gets in the front and if anyone gets on the gatling gun you either get abuse from them both telling you to get off (can't understand the workings of the gatling gun see?) or you get team killed swiftly followed by a teabagging for your act of rebellion against your betters. If you and someone else get into the Warthog first then you get a grenade up your tailpipe for your trouble. I once had someone shout at me that the Banshee was his literally "Hey F21 that's mine!" I got in anyway and got a torrent of abuse for my trouble followed by him lasering me out of the sky, if he can't have it no one can.

Teabagging. I've seen people run out from behind cover under stupidly heavy fire in Halo just to teabag someone they've killed. I do find it funny that the most homophobic people in the world take the time to simulate something usually associated with homosexuality (not trying to be offensive ;) ) and are completely unaware of the irony. :fp:

Quitters - It's bad enough when people quit because they assume a game of big team slayer is lost if you go a few kills down in the first few minutes but when people quit before play even starts because people didn't follow their orders to veto the map/varient then you're in problems.

People who shout "veto!" - Shut up

People who use gay as an insult - Belt up

People who kick you from Left 4 Dead games for not having a mic - Where on the box does it say that a mic is mandatory? I can hear you perfectly well without a mic and I'm more than capable without one. What's funny is when you get into the games and there's nothing but dead silence. I once played through No Mercy on Advanced with three guys from Hong Kong who couldn't speak a word of English and me without a mic/word of Mandarin, we survived and all three are on my friends list 8-) . Most people who play Left 4 Dead struggle with basic English anyway despite having it as their first language so why would I want to attempt conversation when Queen's English is likely to be met with a torrent of abuse.

I think I've covered everything I don't like, I'm going to have a lie down now.

Hmm, I only play Halo with friends, but we always call what weapon we're going for, it means that collectively as a team we can secure all the power weapons and then all the key areas of the map. If someone says they're going for the sniper, perhaps you should go for a different weapon, surely that's better for your team?

I'm a bit rubbish with the sniper rifle so I tend to avoid it unless I absolutely must use it given the situation (stopping the flag carrier for example). I'm alright with the Spartan Laser but it can be annoying how the majority of people use it as an instant kill sniper rifle rather than an anti vehicle weapon (ie not using it right). It does annoy me when people throw a paddy because they haven't got "their" weapons and then start betraying people just to get a hold of them. In turn they get kicked and you end up having to play the rest of the game two or three players down.

While I'm on the subject of the whole kicking for betrayals thing I really wish some people would think a little before using it. Some seem to think that as soon as it comes up you must kick the player and sometimes that is justified. However sometimes you get people who can't take it when an accident happens. I put a mine down on Rats Nest and went off to do some killing and hopefully pick off someone on the other side driving a Warthog. Unfortunately someone from my team drove over it about five minutes later and I was responsible for three betrayals, it happens I've driven over mines laid by my own team before and I've forgiven it and I'm sure everyone on here has done it at least once before.

I got kicked for an accident that happened while I was on the other side of the map, more to the point where I put it the driver would've had plenty of time to see it and stop/drive round. :fp:

Thank christ you can get a fair few decent games with decent players on Halo 3 otherwise I'd have gone back to COD4 by now.

EDIT: I'd also like to climb on the "Buffalo is a cheat" bandwagon.

Sf4. Setting the game to 1 round 30 sec and then quitting if they are about to be beat is about the lowest ive seen. I sent the twat a message asking him was he enjoying himself. Cant be much fun. Its pathetic that they can do this in a ranked match in the first place, sort it out capcom.

I suppose the fact that I say "I only play with friends" sort of confirms your point. For me the experience is so much better with people that I know, either through LIVE of IRL, I can imagine how annoying it would be to be kicked for something like that though.

I really don't mind playing with rubbish players, but I can't stand people who won't play for the team, most people I play with are happy to learn from the more experienced players and so will do as they're told. As I say, the things you're talking about don't really come up for us, for example if we're on The Pit, we'll quickly decide in the lobby on who's going where to start, typically two people go for the shotty then rockets while the other two go for sniper then sword, we'll then keep an eye on the timer and try and make sure we're near the rocket tunnel the next time they spawn.
