Can I buy PSN credit with a Tesco gift card

As per title. Tesco gift cards cannot be used online , but im guessing they sell PSN credit in their stores (like WH Smith etc does).

Assuming they do, can i use a gift card to purchase PSN credit? I know you cant use them to buy other gift cards, but im not sure if that extends to this example. And if i can't use it for this, could i use it for a PS+ sub?

Hopefully one of you good people have the answer!

I work for the Co-Op and we're specifically told not to accept gift cards for any kind of digital purchase. So I very much doubt it, but no harm in asking.

Probably to stop scammers, either those buying the cards or people who have been conned into buying Google play/apple cards to give to scammers.

My instant reaction was no you can’t but I have read the terms and conditions and can’t find anything saying that you can’t so now I would assume you can, with things like Clubcard vouchers they list the things you can’t use them on but the gift cards don’t seem to have the same restrictions

Hey, thanks for taking the time to look so carefully and reply. Sounds like it’s worth a shot then. I know you can get psn store credit cheaper using online codes etc, but there is nothing I want to buy from Tesco, and we do all our shopping online or at different supermarkets due to the terrible parking at our local one!

Fwiw, I asked my sister, who’s a store manager for Tesco, and she said she’s pretty sure you can’t, but she’ll check to be 100%.

Haven’t heard anything else since though
