Can I transfer data between PSN accounts?

Is it possible to transfer saved game data between accounts on my PS4? I don't care about trophies or any of that.

I haven't got a PS+ account yet but will do in the near future. When I created my PSN name a while back a mate of mine signed me up under a stupid / borderline inappropriate name that I can't use online I've sunk 6 hours or so into the Witcher and cannot be arsed with replaying the intro. I just want to transfer my Witcher save dame to be honest. Is there any way around this?

Yes, you can upload your saved data on PSN Storage up to 10GB and I think you might need PS+ for it.

Unfortunately I don't think that PS Plus will help in this case; game saves cannot be transferred between accounts.

Make sure your mate isn't around when you create your new account!

I think you could transfer any saves that you want onto a USB stick, and then import them once you've made a new account?

A quick google suggests that on PS3 you select and save file n the XMB and press triangle to copy it to a different profile on your console, I don't know if such a feature exists on the PS4

According to this, no: http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/ ... p/45105355

If you don't care about trophies, just finish W3 on the old account and make a new one for when you get PS+. It's easy enough to do.

That only allows you to upload to cloud and then download on to another machine, but it still has to be your account which it downloads to.

^^Ok, I might just restart Witcher on my new account. If/when Witcher 4 arrives I'd like to import my save if possible. I know that's speculative, but still.. Cheers for the info.

Just so you're aware: Nobody even knows if there will be another Witcher/Geralt game (source material has been used in W1, 2 and 3), or even if CDPR would helm it. Some think there'll be more given its popularity, but that's just conjecture, and even if it did happen it could be by another dev.
