Can whoever is leader today ask for another letter from the one that starts with D to rule me out

Based on what errkal is claiming we should lynch devlin if he's no a seer we get errkal to name the contact and put him up in night phase. Of course that doesn't rule out the possibility of errkal being a cannibal and getting us to waste 2 phases killing innocent players

I would point out I have been leader on a phase we took out a Cannibal so it would be a bit of an ambitious play for me to do that and be a wrong'un

I think Errkal has done enough in this thread to be trusted, although we obviously can't vouch for his source. Either way we ought to lynch Cheeky to be sure!

However, I must continue to insist that we have more than one leader candidate. So unless somebody else steps up, I will be standing too. My platform will depend on how Errkal intends to answer this morning's question!

Heres another outthere theory,

I think that rather than Karl sending a random PM to two people last night saying;

"yo derp, yu iz a KanniBal now. Smell ya l8r!! lol" (thats how Karl speaks right?).

There were probably cannibal apprentices from the start that had an activation condition. Perhaps it was in someway known to them how the activation occurs.

This could be the way it was done, in a previous game I was a "normal" person until the Alpha died at which point I became the Alpha so it wouldn't be an unprecedented thing.

Wait what? Is this known info? I read all the rules at the start and don't remember any mention of this.

I'll vote for Errkal as leader.

Good job getting the Alpha folks. If Errkal's source can be trusted that's another cannibal down as well.

Why do we think there are two new cannibals by the way? Haven't seen anything from Karl confirming this.

Think previously when asking for a clue there were 5 you could choose from yesterday's leader said there were now 7 options

Because when i went the the altar thing to get the clue, "there were 7 symbols, and jumbled up from how previous leaders described" (paraphrased because Karl didnt want me to repost his PM)

You went to the altar, how was the experience worded for you? I notice that the first leader did confirm 5 cannibals, I PMed Karl trying to get the same information, but he didnt reply. I dont think i phrased it in a sufficiently hip way

I agree that Cheeky Devlin has to be lynched tonight.

I was also suspicious of Ironhide, he quickly dropped his campaign for leader to go on yesterdays expedition that brought big power to the cannibals

Heres another paranoid theory:

mcjihge2 is the last cannibal and hes made the whole thing up to stall for time, cause an onset of confusion, and attempt to make himself look important and innocent.

Perhaps Pancake should chose mcjihge2 and Ironhide as lynch candidates.

I didn't get to an altar. I only signed up for the spellbook event and the one where Edd smashed the chalice

Apologies for my lateness this morning, gents. Knock back this morning's deadlines by thirty minutes to compensate.

Phase Seven

Omnivores, you will need to elect from within your ranks a Leader. This person must be appointed, by way of the 'classic' in-thread running poll, by 12:30pm today. The chosen Leader will need to submit two names to me by PM before 1:30pm. These two names will thusly become your choice for your Phase Seven kill. (The Leader's vote will be the deciding vote if the Phase Seven kill 'election' results in a tie.)

As well as being immune from any Cannibal kills that will take place later this Phase, your Leader will obtain an important clue, which they will be trusted to share with the rest of the group.

Finally, the leader will be the person to make the decision for this Phase's question on behalf of the group. The question is as follows:

"Someone in the group has had an idea... what if we all try and go downstairs to the cannibaltar, and see if we can spot if anyone's behaviour is different?"

Decision by 12:30pm please, ladies and gents.

Right we have a question and I think that yes, that could be massively helpful especially with the reset of the clues. Plus as we are going to be taking out a cannibal today we will be in good shape I think.

The altar - the Cannibalter (as Dans post above) is the thing that the leaders get their clues from.

The nominated group leader can venture into the basement, choose one cannibal's name, and reveal a letter.
They alone will then be entrusted to bring this information back to the group.

Possible negitive repercussions? But as Pedz previously mentioned, the decision only means one or two kills for the cannibals, we probably wont get any extra information.
