Help for a friend.

The downloadable version of the game keeps throwing up this error message, and the browser version gets stuck on 'Loading' at 100%. Not a lot of information I know, but any basic things we can try to get it working?

Ta.

Delete the mine craft folder at user/app data/roaming and re install.

That should do it.

Apparently they've tried that and no luck. Anything else we can do?

Cheers for helping.

EDIT - they're on Windows 7 32-bit, and now saying that it used to work on Vista but never has done on 7. Hmmm. Think we might have this one figured out.

Jesus strawberry float. We just worked it out. Get this.

The Windows 7 user account they were trying to play Minecraft on has an exclamation mark in it. That... apparently strawberry floats up Java? Creating a Win 7 guest account means it works fine.

Learned something today. I guess.
