Don't watch it anymore, so no idea what characters these days would not leave much of a gap. I guess any to be honest.

Abe's probably the most likely candidate. Hopefully with a better episode than when they offed Ma Simpson

I find it weird killing off characters whilst no other time advances. At least King of the Hill aged their characters.

That was quite good actually. Not particularly funny but then the couch gags have never really been hilarious.

I quite enjoyed that. Lots of reference to Hellboy, Blade II(wtf) and Pan's Labyrinth there, as expected.

I'm feeling very fragile today, hungover as strawberry float. Saw that episode was coming on Channel 4 +1 in five minutes and actually was quite upset remembering the ending.

strawberry float it, I'm gonna watch it.

I have a similar problem with the various episodes of The Simpsons I have on my PVR. If I read a few lines of the synopsis I instantly recall plot details and favourite bits of the ep, and so kind of don't want to watch it as I'm not in the mood for that particular kind of episode. Solution? Pick an ep at random without reading synopsis.

I tried that but then I'd skip to another episode once I'd seen enough to work out the plot.
