I'm glad to see all the interest in GRwatched The Simpsons. Shall we start next Monday with the goal of getting through the first three episodes of season one by the following Monday? We could even bump this up to seven because one a day/night is quite feasible.

Can I make a small suggestion that we start with Season 2 and end with Season 8, for now? Obviously 1 and 9-10 are okay too, but since this is going to take a while to get through anyway I think we should aim to do the highest quality episodes first.

And an ep a night sounds good. Fast enough that it won't take forever, slow enough that someone can potentially miss a few nights and still be able to catch up!

Shame I turned down all those box sets at the carboot this weekend. Could have gotten seasons 3-8 for £15. Would have been perfect for this.

I have no objection to doing this. Short of any major opposition, let's start with S02E01 on Monday.

So if seasons 2-8 are the only acceptable Simpsons seasons and Canyonero appeared in season 9 what does that mean for this thread?
