Due to the repetition of Homer stating he'll give the gun up but then keeping it. That and the story being yet another one where Marge gets angry at Homer and leaves him.

Saw that American football one yesterday... Homer winking at Burns over the phone

It really wasn't that good an episode, the bit in the gun shop was golden but that was the highlight of the episode. The bit with in the kitchen where Homer tries to put the safety on is decent too, everything else was a bit meh. Also the whole premise of the episode falls flat when it has been acknowledged several times in the series that homer keeps a gun in the house.

I just watched 'Last Exit to Spingfield' for the first time in over a decade and it reminded me of how great this show used to be.
