You can buy the digital version from Game now too. Going to try and display an ounce of resolve and wait for my copy to turn up. If there's no sign of it by next Wednesday though I'll be hitting that download code up.

Yeah, I suspect that is the case. I'm tempted by the digital version, but it'd mean waiting until 2 Jan.

Got home from work to find this had arrived after ordering yesterday! So chuffed, can't wait to play it tomorrow!

Just reserved my copy to pick up in the morning. The plan is to keep it under wraps till christmas morning but cannot really see that happening.

I'm going to stick with my amazon order, but glad to see some of you have it in time for Christmas.

I watched the GT review and the game looks incredible.

Yeah, going to stick to Amazon also, would really like the game now, but I ain't paying an extra tenner to do so.

Turns out Argos had it in - email reservation came through at 5.30 last night. Luckily they were open until 8 - I do enjoy living next to a town centre at times.

I was going to put it on for 5 minutes, and ended up blasting through Chapter 1, and having a go on some bonus stuff. Really, really fun.

I didn't like the Captain Toad levels in SM3DW that much - but the reviewers are right, this is a much more solid, inventive experience. And it may even better looking than 3D World at times. It's gorgeous.

Before getting it from Argos i asked in Game if they were selling Captain Toad only to be told that the release date was in january. I mentioned that some retailers including Argos were already selling the game. At this point the guy i was talking to seemed to take a little pleasure in informing me that Argos would most likely get a "massive fine" for selling it early. I forgot to mention that one of the retailers selling early was Game themselves through their website

Yeah I'll stick with Amazon order as well. Only £25 on there and it's not like I have no games to play.
