Capcom now won't be bringing back either of the original English voice actors, instead opting to redo it all. Not sure about the script/verbiage itself, though.

Hardly a Solid Snake situation, but some people are still peeved.

Wonder if they fix the impossible to achieve canon ending for Resi 1 described in Mail to the Chief where Chris, Jill, Barry, Rebecca and Brad all survive.

Whatever happened to Rebecca? Was she only in 1 and 0? I don't remember her even getting a mention in any of the other games. Did she have an epilogue in Resi 3?

I hope it has the built in cheats from the N64 version that made me actually able to beat the game :shifty:

The jump in BOTH resolution AND framerate seems suspect.

I'm getting less interested in this. I just want a straight REmake 2.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is a perfect example of how you can recreate the original game in spirit extremely well, but I’ve got to be honest I don’t have faith in Capcom to do something similar (despite Resident Evil 7 being excellent).

I got the impression the majority of people, at least online and myself included, were hoping for something more like Crash Bandicoot/Spyro.
