RE2 was my first proper exposure to the series, so I'm excited for this remake. I played RE1 at a friend's house but we both found it too hard and cumbersome so gave up, but then when RE2 came out I got a copy and played it to death. Such a classic

The bit of that trailer that got me was the office room full of zombie cops. Now that gooseberry fool looked amazing and really scary!

They've somehow made Marvin Branagh even more of a bad ass as well.

I can't wait.

GTFO, RE1 is a classic.

Not saying it isn't, but as an 11 year old it wasn't what I was after. RE2 was just more refined and appealing when I started playing it as a 13 year old.

What a difference 20 years of tech makes.

Yeah that's a huge jump. I used to think the cgi intro was amazing, but even that gets completely blown away by this.

If this is anything like Resident Evil 7, it's going to look amazing on PC.

Going back to the last page,

The game will be aiming for 60fps at native 4k on a PS4 Pro.

PC will be able to do this, Xbox One X maybe, PS4 Pro no chance.

So is this multiformat? Tried this on the PC years ago and didn't really like it (never been a fan of the early RE controls) but would be interested in a remake.

Are they honestly whining because he looks like new Leon and not grainy 32 bit Leon?

Looks great.

Leon looks much closer to a young Leonardo DiCaprio now which I think has always been a look Capcom have kind of gone for with him.

Based on the original concept of the police station (which didn't make the final game)

I don't like the look of Leon, he's weird. I'd also prefer the Remake to be more like REmake than this, but I still want it.
