I'm with Tesco, always found them to offer the cheapest quote for the last few years.

I'm with Bell, who are linked to Admiral. I've been on no-claims accelerators (ie get a year's no claims off 10 months' insurance) for the past three years. However, they've still been cheaper month-for-month than anyone else.

My next renewal will be interesting - my last claim was more than five years ago, so drops off the record, and I'll six years' no claims in total. Also, I'm 32 and I live in a nice area.

It better be starting to get cheap.

Got mine yesterday after discovering I had been unsured since Jan 19th. I ended up with Chaucer (?) via Confused. Great price and good service.

Thats not a bad renew. You must either be farily old, have a very small engined car, or live in a really good area.

Im with Hastings direct. £360

I was with The Green Insurance Company (Translation - we will never communicate with you) until this year, when I switched to Admiral and in doing so halved my premium.

I was with Bell on their no claims accelerator for a year and a half (before I moved to London and sold my car...).

When it came to renewing I simply tried three of the comparison sites (Gocompare, confused.com etc) and Direct Line (as they don't list themselves on comparison sites). Aviva are now following Direct Line's approach too so check them out as well.

 Postcode lottery. I might try a quote with Plover Court, Preston. Britain's worst crime street according to that map.
