Rover, back in 2003. It just took everyone else 15 years to catch up.

What a delightful looking car, Rover were clearly the trendsetters, just a shame they're not around to see the results of it.

My previous girlfriend had a rover 25, it was comfortably the worst car I've clever driven.

The proposed Rover 35 became the BMW 1-series. Wonder if they'd still be around if they'd actually released it.

Because people want the space in a minivan without actually getting a minivan as that makes you an old person, whereas a SUV is tough and rugged (despite the fact that loads don't even have AWD, let alone 4x4). Also loads of these cars are actually tiny on the inside as they're based on compacts or even subcompacts! So they're doubly impractical! People just see they're tall and somehow assume they have more space than the hatchbacks they're based off of. :|

My aunt has a Nissan Juke. It's smaller inside than my little Vauxhall Corsa.

Working for a Parts Place

Got all the filters I need to service my car for around £13.00. All OE too. 8-)

I know I've said it before, if any of you are servicing your car, give me a shout and I'll get you the filters, spark plugs, pads etc dead cheap and I'll royal mail them to you.
You'll save tonnes of money :)

This. We were looking at SUV class vehicles recently and it is ludicrous how little room you get in them in comparison to their overall footprint.

I get staff discount from work, and the shiny Vauxhall stamp. Working in the motor trade is awesome.

I just bought a new car! My old Fiesta failed its MOT and was too expensive to bother repairing so I've splashed out on a newer car. It is this one.

Picking it up on Saturday, yay!

Some twat in a Mustang was right up my arse on the motorway yesterday, flashing his lights and changing lanes aggressively in an attempt to get ahead. We were on the outside, but traffic was queuing in all lanes, so his attempts to move inside and get ahead kept failing so he kept coming back outside and getting ever closer to me. Of course I slowed down to piss him off more then, but even if I'd wanted to move there was barely any room inside and he'd only have got a few metres ahead. He must have been seething.

Twats on the motorway tailgating can all die in a big blaze of hell.

After putting up with corroded wheels on the Dodge for years, finally decided to get them all refurbished.

Before they all looked like this:

The new look:

Had the air con done earlier in the year (about £400). Remaining items are intermittent turbo issue, noisy belt and finally Terraclean and remap. Probably £1,000 - £1,500 to go......

The rim's look great, how much was it to have them done?

Had to get all of the tires on our car changed last week because they were balding badly, with dry rot in 3 of the 4. $650 in total, but they're Cooper tires so they should be alright.

Had to get the front brake pads and rotors replaced yesterday after a nasty grinding noise emerged during braking, and the brake pedal became semi unresponsive. Turns out the rotors were warped and worn almost to the pillar parts in the middle. $308 to resolve.

Cars are strawberry floating expensive. Ugh.
