I was just pointing out its actually monetary cost.

Putting things in point value can make you think its more than it actually is.

Isn't that near the lava levels?

Just head north passing the wedding level etc.

It's at the end of Lava World. You get it after fighting the level's boss.

I've managed to complete the game now. The final castle area was rather annoying, especially the following boss fights, but at least I've finished it now.

I've unlocked another character, but how do I unlock the others?

Oh strawberry float, I didn't pick it up after fighting him.

Nooooooooooooooo! :(

Edit: I didn't miss it at all. I hadn't actually done the level in question.

Finished it. You can clearly tell that they ran out of ideas for the last third and instead settled for being annoying. Projectiles up the arse constantly is not fun. The end bosses were pitiful too. Starts off well and ends in a whimper.

I've found out how to unlock some of the other characters so I'll maybe have a go at trying to get some of them and also the animals too.

For those who'd want to try to get the achievements in this, would anyone want to try to get the co-op ones? Two of them can be done with at least two people, but the third needs four people.

Well I got round to playing this last night with 3 other mates, all sat round the TV, was like being 13 again

Despite the initial shock/horror of my mates at the graphics, (2D just doesn't cut it for them anymore lol) they bloody loved it and we ended up playing til' the early hours of the morning. So many boss battles, its mental. But it works so well as a 4 player co-op game, makes a nice change from Halo 3. Look forward to returning to it. Like how you can play as the Alien from AH, take it he's unlocked as I got that game on my hd.

Love this. Lots actually.

Pure golden axe with a little more variety and customisation in game-play terms, but its the lovely art style, puerile humour and the fact you just know behemoth had nothing but fun making this.

Its an old arcade game for old arcade gamers in many ways. Appeals to the same mindset that loved sticking 4 pads and mates in a room with micro machines, mashed and gauntlet games of yore.

This is exactly what live arcade should be about imo. Original software, celebrating games of yesteryear with a self referential nod to games past. Humorous, addictive and inventive art-style make this 1200pts well spent. Slight niggles like net-code in need of a patch and some irritating collision detection issues aside, its essential stuff.

I managed to win two Arena ranked matches and a All You Can Quaf match (only because the other person quit). I can't see myself managing to get 40 wins in each for the achievements, though.

I also unlocked another two characters, as well as levelling up my main knight. I might see if I can level him up a bit more so I can overtake Thanatos on the leaderboard.

That sort of random stuff is a trademark of Newgrounds.
