'Encounters?'

A know a couple of singers who encountered Fergie from Black Eyed Peas and Gerard Butler when they were single. My DJ friend was also dating Chris Stark from Radio 1 for a while. He bought me an entire bottle of vodka when we were out once because he could.

Other than that, my flatmate won BGT a few years back (Collabro) and as he and his gf moved rooms and I took their old one when I moved in, I may have encountered by osmosis. :dread:

I had the awful moment of being introduced to his mate, saying "I think we've met before" before dying inside as he said "we haven't" and realising I recognised him off the telly. That was before they won anyway. Same flatmate also won a Smash Bros Tournament at Comicon around the same time and got a 3DS and game, which riled me as I used to kick his ass routinely.

I seen lady gaga naked when she only had one single out. She was a proper demanding cow just strutting about in the dressing room of a tv studio, with the door wide open. Ne-yo was there too, not that he’s famous anymore or ever really was, but he was a total gent.

She wasn’t properly naked if she only had a single one out.

Met Paul Merton, was on a train from London and he sat opposite me, I said he we got chatting for the train journey discussing how fields are dull and sheep should have letters on their backs to let you play word search as you go by.

I've only ever met Quentin Wilson.

I did throw myself at Simon Miller but I don't think you can really call him a celebrity.

My first time at the O2 London 2015, I went to see U2 and ended up near the Celeb Taped Off Square [with security on the square  ]. I was near to the floor and this Scottish couple went OMG, there's Noel Gallagher and started singing Noely G, Noely G and he came over and had a bit crack before the gig.

I nearly had a mental breakdown and I thought my heart was going to come out of my mouth [I know these people are only human, but I was so nervous] my opening gambit was I seen you earlier in the year at the SSE Hydro Glasgow [which I had] and I love your latest album [not as good as the first imho] and then we were talking about Football and U2 and stuff. Then he got talking to Natalie Imbruglia and a few other people I didn't recognise. Best of it was the guy I was sat next to was Danish and didn't even know who Noel Gallagher was :fp:

I was gutted as well, as when I got home I found out he had joined U2 on stage on the second night show too. :(

Photo hidden in the spoiler for it's size [don't know how to shrink it]

Roman Lobb and Marcel Nguyen have stayed at my house, I have spoken to various footballers like Lukas Podolski, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mario Götze etc and I sold a puppy to Eric Lichaj, I spoke to Prince Naseem when I was a child he was on holiday in Disney World and we had a pretend boxing match that my dad filmed, I shared a box at Derby County with Kevin Lloyd at the baseball ground, I’m sure there are more but that’s enough

Not a random encounter as it was at his book tour/signing in Cardiff, but Limmy. I asked why he made his GTA IV video where he kills the prostitute private and he said something to the effect of "it was a bad look".

I met Mick Foley as well! In grade 7 one of the kids parents in my class was the host of a TV sports show and arranged for the class to have a field trip to their TV studio and at the end we all got to meet him and get his autograph.

Some of my celeb encounters involve before they were famous meets.

I used to play football with Matt Smith at Billing United in Northampton as a kid. When I say play football I mean I went to training every week for a couple of years and never got pick :fp:

I also went to Alan Carr’s parents house (Graham Carr) as I went to school with his brother Gary. I wouldn’t have paid any attention to Alan at the time but I remember he was there.

As a kid I also met Gary lineker and Ian Botham at a charity cricket event.

I’ve also met Lenny Henry when he came into a menswear shop that my Dad used to own when I was working there at weekends.

I also met Una Healy and Frankie Bridge from the Saturdays when they were watching Ben Foden train at the Saints.

I queued behind Keith Chegwin at a Morrison deli counter when he was doing panto in Northampton. He spent ages chatting to the girl on the counter whilst I impatiently waited behind him.

I’ve also been in George North’s (welsh international rugby player), Marc Richard’s (footballer) and Dylan Hartley’s (rugby) houses for work reasons.

I once saw Dr Robert Winston and the Cheeky Girls within 10 minutes of each other on Oxford Street. Obviously some sorry of sign.

Saw Peter Molyneux walking down the street in Greenwich. I'm not one for interrupting people but, had it not been pissing it down would deffo have gone and said hello. Didn't though.

Met Johnny Depp in full Cpt Jack getup while he was filming Pirates 4 at my old work. As I'm a man he did not, I repeat not, try to beat me up.

Bumped into Edwin Van Der Sar on a street in Amsterdam, while absolutely wasted. Shouted something I love you at the top of my voice because, to be fair, he was a hell of a keeper. Without even turning round he just gave this cool as strawberry float thumbs up and kept walking.
