Did you get all these yourself? I only have two, and had to look up the puzzle solutions for both. My memory is not good enough to have solved these without at least writing things down

Yeah. The one in the first chapter had me stumped for a while. Took me until my second playthrough of the chapter to figure it out. After figuring it out I had to write the sequence down, which came in handy later.

Yeah, that's the second crystal heart I got to, and of course I did not have it written down.

Hopefully I can work out the others then at least?

Are you asking if that sequence plays a part in solving a later puzzle?

For the most part I personally didn't find them too difficult to solve, it was usually finding them that was the tricky part (of course some of them are pretty dastardly hidden).

I meant that the second crystal heart I found was the one that calls back to the first level's, needing you to remember the sequence but reverse it in various ways. I just found a youtube video with the solution because I didn't fancy wasting all that time going back to the firstlevel, writing down the sequence, going back to the new one, and working out all the changed sequences.

I was asking if the others are easier/require less memory testing. But yes, I think finding them might be an issue, but I want to do that myself!

Just finished the main game. Have only done one B-Side so far as far as I remember.

This game is fan-f*cking-tastic, and hitting all my sweet spots. Story themes are nicely pitched too, and I had that Warm Glow at the end.

Ah. Yeah, those two are probably the trickiest in that regard. You shouldn't have too much trouble with the others (although one does test your knowledge of NES game -> Super Mario Bros. 3).

I was playing one of the PICO-8 levels and spent about 50 attempts trying to get a key to unlock a strawberry, finally did it then jumped off the top of the screen and started the next level without collecting it. :fp: I screamed so loud it woke my girlfriend.

Just did the Summit B-side. Took me close to an hour. Only one of these left to go + four more full clears and then the obvious stuff will be out of the way.

Bored on Saturday morning so took the plunge. Surprised how beautiful the music is.

Two Chapters in and the characterisation is delightful and engaging. However, I'm quite bad at the game. Think I'm at 150 deaths :slol:

Just finished the final B-side and unlocked golden strawberries and C-sides. After the first chapter C-side I feel confident I'll be able to do all of those, but I'll probably give up on the golden strawberries a few chapters in.

I was 380 on the second B-side. I assumed I'd done quite well and Googled what people were generally getting. It was around 100.

A friend and I tried to work through the Reflection B-Side. It was silly hard and precise :fp: Super satisfying, mind - after beating each screen. But then we thought we'd look up how far into the level proper we were and it turned out we were only like a third through.

We quit.

Still love the game, though. :D

The Reflection Crystal Heart was such a relief when I worked out what to do. Still no idea what's going on with the satellite in level 1, though - nor even where the B-Side is :fp:

My only problem, now I think about is - is using the analogue on the Switch. Sometimes diagonals too easily get confused for verticals and horizontals, and vice versa. By far the hardest strawberry of the game for me was one fairly standard one in the Hotel - It's like I lost the ability to do a vertical jump for about an hour.

Maybe I should try the Pro Controller but I'm a huge fan of the casual, arms akimbo game playing allowed by the joy-cons being split.

The only thing I had to look up for the others was the location of one of the gems on the summit. I managed to completely miss a destructible wall annoyingly! So yes, those two puzzle ones were on another level.

That one you spoilered I recognised, but I couldn't quite remember the trick. So I looked up what you do in the game it was referencing, and was golden from there.

In the C-sides now, three of them down. Attempted two others and boy am I not good at them, oh no. Might take a break from their deadliness to instead track down all the strawberries.

This game...

Sorry, I don't think I mentioned much but added some spoiler tags anyway, my bad :(
