That looks to be fun; a super treat for Celeste - and N64 - fans!

Unfortunately, as with Balla, as it's Windows/Linux I can't play it, though :-(.

Oh well. Maybe I should get around to playing the original Celeste on my Switch!

How would I play this on Steam Deck? Download it in desktop mode or something?

Yeah pretty much - download it in desktop, extract the zip and then if it's an EXE installer you should be able to add that to Steam and run the installer from within steam (sometimes you need to go into compatibility settings and choose a different Proton version from the default one Steam uses)

Sometimes finding where Steam has installed an application can be difficult as it uses a bit of a convoluted "virtual drive" system - so you sometimes have to search around a bit once the installer is complete to locate things, but it's usually not too hard.

I'm going to have a go at doing it myself tonight so will let you know how I get on!

Once you're done with this I can recommend the totally rad and totally free Trip's Voyage if you have Dreams :D

(or New Super Lucky's Tale?!)

(and 2D Celeste itself obv!)

Might be worth trying the extra challenges too if you've not already. The B-Sides aren't as hard as you might think once you get into it, then the C-Sides definitely Are as hard as you might think but you can just zone out and play on repeat until suddenly you accomplish something you previously thought absurd. It's fun!

And the Farewell DLC is absolutely brilliant and really rewards how much it asks if you.

It's OK for a freebie probably made in a quickish turnaround

I really struggled with spatial awareness

Love the little Mario 64 esque sound font cues when picking up strawberries though

They released DLC?? Was that free or paid for?

This is pretty good for something they put together in a week. Have 21 strawbs so far, and reached the credits. Can see the B-side music driving someone up the wall if they're stuck on one of those sections for overly long.

Not really DLC, just a free update to the game that included a whole new chapter.
