Changing Excel values to millions

I have a range of values in Excel that are in, for example, the following format.
78344.92
344345.00
1513.40
1560.55
4864.50
19492.50
Those are the full values, so $78.3k, $344.3k, $1.5k, etc. I want them to be in millions though, and not just displayed as millions (like Format Cell > Custom) but to actually change the raw data. So the first one would become 0.0078344, second would be 0.344345, etc.
What's the quickest way of me doing this?

Can you use the formula =(A1)/1000000 in another cell, click and drag down so it auto-populates all the cells with the 'millionified' values? If you need to overwrite the original values with the new ones you can just copy/paste the data (as opposed to the formula), I'm sure there's an option for that.

No, that would convert it to being in units of one-millionths-of-a-pound.
