Just finished watching the entire run. Brilliant stuff overall. The order I watched them in was whack, though. Started with season 3, then the christmas special on christmas day (that was fun), then season 1 & 2 in order. Can't wait for more. Hard to pin down my favourite episode of the lot. Probably between Shut Up & Dance, Be Right Back, Men Against Fire and White Christmas.

Finished watching it today.
The final episode is one of the best things I've seen for a while, but it's all good. S3 generally is great: really diverse; such good ideas.
Watching it on iPad is weird, mind... whenever it fades to black you're very aware that it's a literal black mirror. I hadn't realised that was the intention until then.
I'd assumed it was a figurative black mirror, meaning 'dark reflection'. I'm pretty slow sometimes.

I still can’t stop thinking about that Christmas episode and that was years ago.
It taps into real fears. I've had nightmares where my wife is leaving and refuses to acknowledge that I'm in the room, very much like the blocking function in the Christmas episode.
I also find Christmas quite a bleak time of year (or at least have done in the past) and it absolutely nails that crushing feeling.
Unmissable tv, IMO.

The bit that got me in that episode was When the policeman changed the time settings so that the sim would be trapped in the virtual world for millions of years. The whole idea of whether the sim was conscious or not and then the idea of being trapped alone in a small house for millions of years, listening to strawberry floating Wizard.
