Charlie Brooker's Wipe Thing

Been watching them on YouTube the day after they air. Really good stuff so far although I instinctively skip past any Philamena/Shitpeas parts. There seems to be more of them now than previously. I miss Doug Stanhope.

I thought there seemed to be less of them. You tend to get one talking head segment with the two and then Moments Of Wonder (Which I do groan at each week, but I usually end up having a chuckle).

But, yes I miss Stanhope as well.

I always fast forward those bits, just not funny at all. Catherine Tate grade LOL I DONT GED IT humour :dread:

I don't find Shitpeas funny, or that impersonator (she's strawberry floating awful), but Cunk is awesome.

The impersonator did an ok impression of Russell Brand, but it needed to be a very short sketch, but seemed to just go on and on. Her segment the week before was just awful though.

There needs to be more Brooker and less of everyone else by quite a large amount. (Not including Stanhope who needs to come out of retirement and make me chuckle.)

It's the same as the Daily Show really, the best bits are almost always the host taking the piss out of news/TV show clips.

She's the woman who plays Vic and Bob's sex crazed neighbour in House Of Fools. She isn't funny in that either. You can just tell she was one of those kids at school who loved to be centre of attention with their 'zaniness'.

I don't mind Shitpeas, because he pretty much only does commentary. But I hate the 'Wonder' Philamena parts, they're just the same kind of thing over and over again.

Enjoying this series, but strawberry floating hell, Barry Shitpeas and Philomena Cunk. :dread:

The latter in particular is beyond awful. The one who does the blogs/Russell Brand impressions is terrible as well.

Just keep it as Charlie Brooker, please.

That Greg Wallace (bald Master Chef chap) thing was amazing. Especially all the strawberry floating mentions he got on shows he wasn't even on!

This is much worse as we only get 6 (5?) eps a year of Brooker. Also TDS correspondants are funnier than the two gimps on Wipe.
