I agree that there's a little too much of them but I personally don't mind the talking heads too much, even if their jokes are never as good as Brooker's.

Jake Yapp's segment is fun though but the Zeb character however is just annoying.

Maybe I am wrong, but do they generally use ITN clips for news items? Seems odd. Maybe they use BBC footage but it doesn't stand out cos there isnt the stupid logo in the corner.

I am a fan of Cunk and Shitpeas, however I still prefer Limmy to the rest.

I also agree that Morgana, the impressionist woman, is pretty awful due to the overly lengthy pieces.

Jake Yapp I don't care for.

I'm not a fan of the blogger character either, but I do like the 'related Youtube videos' and such at the side of the screen. The last episode first had a cat, then a Golliwog, then "Shitpeas joins UKIP"

That was probably the best thing in this series so far. I for one welcome our new bald greengrocer overlords.

The Greg Wallace stuff on this week's episode  I'd never even heard of that guy before.

The best bit was Ed Miliband's answer to that question where he wasn't supposed to mention the government. What a knobhead.

Here's that all-Brooker episode we wanted

Edit: Never mind, there's some Cunk at the end. Mostly Brooker then

Cunk was the best bit in that episode.

:dread: Jesus Christ. That's some Frank or even Glowy levels of bad opinion right there.

I don't even try to watch the cunk etc bits now, just immediately fast forward until Brooker is on again which means each episode lasts about 10 mins for me.

Felt like Brooker didn't have as much to talk about this week, making for a slightly weaker episode.

Wasn't bad by any means but going back to the tax avoidance story felt a little odd.

The Cunk bit wasn't too bad this week. Made me chuckle a couple of times.

Liked the TOTP gimmick they used to segue into pieces.

Is next week the last episode as usual before a 6th episode full of clips of the previous 5? :dread:

I'll never understand why they don't run this for months at a time like other news programmes. 5 episodes a year is piss all.

I'm guessing because getting a show written filmed and edited in a week is quite hard work.

It's so strawberry floating weird, "here's the news from this week" for five weeks then nothing all year.

So just like every other weekly scripted show, then.

What other shows are you referring to?
