The question's confusing me. Aren't chavs and scallies two distinctly different species?

I'd say Aquascutum is one of the most horrendously chavvy brands.
Those Berghaus jackets that scallies/ned's wear are strawberry floating atrocious too.

Neither are on the list, though. Oh, well.

Fila seems to be making a comeback here for some reason. I've seen a few chavs wearing their jumpers the past few weeks on my travels.

It's got to be Lonsdale.

Showing my age somewhat but Ben Sherman was the chav shirt of choice back in the day. I've haven't seen the brand in about 20 years though.

I don't tend to judge clothes based purely on brand. Anything with large and obnoxious logos printed all over them is definitely out though. Personally I avoid most visible branding whenever possible and think people who think themselves more fashionable because they are wearing a particular brand are morons.

G-Star. Absolutely vile. Used to be Lacoste, but I had a couple of Lacoste tracksuits that I loved when I was a fifteen year old ned so I can't bring myself to completely condemn them.

My boxer trunks are Ben Sherman, but I did really struggle to find the last packet. I think it'll have to be Calvin Klein when I buy the next lot. In 30 years, obs. Wanna get my money's worth.

Lonsdale has always been the boozer favourite of choice.

It comes up every time. Is it acceptable to wear a Burberry shirt yet? It's one of those annoying gifts you don't want to throw away.

After many years of chav/townie abuse I can again wear caps as well.

I kind of enjoy the irony of appropriating previously chav elements because yolo. I'll never wear sportswear/trackies though, that's truly douchebag territory considering I'm not even remotely fit.

btw I wear unstructured caps, not those strawberry floating gigantic baseball/trucker caps.

Burberry is only acceptable if you're wearing it ironically.

Goddamnit. It's a good quality shirt. Oh well, I have like 15 shirts.

I don't understand how anyone can have more than 5 shirts.

One for each working day, and two t-shirts for the weekend.

All shirts should be the same colour to save having to think about what to wear each day.

Some of them are gifts, at least one doesn't really fit me, but all are (mostly discounted) £30-£50 shirts.

They last a very long time if they're kept, hung, flattened occasionally (I just use my heatpress, strawberry float ironing).

I probably wear about 3 or 4 randomly on rotation and then dig the others up. But I hardly ever have to dress up nice. Actually in some situations it's better to wear my own branded workwear. I have a nice super soft dark navy T-shirt with a pocket on it that's far more appropriate for site work.

So, I'll probably never buy another dinner/work shirt again as I can get those for like £6. The kind of T-shirts that are frequently rebranded by the mugs that spend over £100 on a shirt.

(And I can get workshirts as well.)

Ah, the pleasures of the branded apparel industry.

I suppose I'm the chav's natural predator.

This is possibly my favourite casual clothing brand right now alongside Converse and Vans, I really like their t-shirt designs, but I have noticed some shiny and glittery stuff lately which isn't to my taste.

I'm not really a fan of big logos on clothing, but I make an exception for Vans. I love their jumpers and raglan tops.

Lonsdale, by far.

When I was at school, all the chavs wore Kappa and Eclipse stuff.
