I got mum a pair of clog slippers and she absolutely adores them.

Also, in regards to Gouda and Edam, if you buy a ball of it, it remains fresh for ages as long as you don't break the wax seal (once that's done then it has to be kept in the fridge and eaten within a reasonable time frame like any other cheese) so it's no problem bringing some home.

Oh gooseberry fool, has anyone had a cheddar by the name of "awesome"? The word awesome is actually spelled differently, I think, to be cutesy but it comes in a black wax and it's the most incredible, strong cheddar I've ever tasted.
